QRL Level 5 - Minimally Secure (Most Systems Today)
Relies exclusively on classical public key cryptography like RSA and ECC for critical security functions. These systems are highly vulnerable to quantum attacks and require immediate action to transition to more secure cryptographic algorithms.
****************************
QRL Level 4 - Partially Secure
Utilizes symmetric cryptographic algorithms such as AES-256 & hash functions such as SHA-256, which offer security against quantum attacks with only quadratic speedup due to Grover's algorithm. While not fully quantum-resistant, these systems maintain a reasonable level of security through robust key management and longer key lengths.

QRL Level 3 - Q-Day Safe
Implements post-quantum cryptographic (PQC) algorithms that are designed to resist quantum attacks, significantly enhancing security against future quantum computing threats. These systems are prepared for the quantum era, having adopted PQC standards.

QRL Level 2 - Hybrid Classical & Quantum Security
Combines post-quantum cryptographic algorithms with quantum cryptography, providing layered security that protects against both classical and quantum attacks. This hybrid approach ensures robust protection during the transitional phase towards complete quantum-native security.
